Former Walk-In volunteer Thrace Soryn, MA, LP is holding an exhibit of her oil paintings, “Shadow and Reflection,” at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland Ave, Minneapolis, from March 6-April 22. All proceeds of painting sales will go to Walk-In Counseling Center.
Thrace says, “My work rises from a passion to draw us together by creating meaning from my story: strife, joy, sorrow, emotional solitude and touching in our lives… the tension of acknowledging and transcending.”
The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are:
Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
